At September 9 event, Apple announced two new iPhones – iPhone 7 and the larger iPhone 7 Plus. Till now, two iPhones – the standard iPhone7 and the Plus one – have almost been identical apart from their physical size and inclusion of optical image stabilization. But this time difference is entirely different. Let’s see the difference between the standard iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus:

Measurement & Weight – The Apple iPhone 7 measures 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1mm and it weighs approx 138g, while the iPhone 7 Plus measures 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3mm and weighs approx 188g. As anticipated, the standard iPhone 7 is smaller and lighter than the Plus.
Look & Feel: Both iPhone7 & iPhone 7 Plus feature an aluminum body, which is available in Rose Gold, Jet Black, Black, Gold and Silver color options. They both have the antenna bands on the rear move to just the top and bottom. And, this makes their look much cleaner than their earlier versions.

They both have a Retina HD display with wide color gamut and 3D Touch technology. They both posses a 625 cd/m2 maximum brightness, a fingerprint resistant coating, Display Zoom and groundbreaking Reachability feature. If we see the nubers, the iPhone 7 Plus offers much sharper and crisper images. The colour vibrancy and viewing angles are identical across these two devices.

This is the key thing that shows the biggest difference between the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPhone 7 includes a single 12-megapixel sensor with a f/1.8 aperture, while the iPhone 7 Plus includes two 12-megapixel rear camera. iPhone 7 is a wide-angle lens with a f/1.8 aperture and iPhone 7plus is a telephoto lens with a f/2.8 aperture. And, this makes iPhone 7 Plus to offer optical zoom at around two times and digital zoom up to 10 times, while iPhone 7 is only capable of digital zoom up to five times. Apart from that it also means that iPhone 7 plus will be able to create bokeh images.
Apart from that, both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have the same functionality. They both feature the optical image stabilization, something that only the Plus has had in the past. They both have a new Quad-LED True Tone flash, and comes with wide color capture, body & face detection with 4K video recording. The front camera is same on both the devices with a 7-megapixel snapper, thus featuring an f/2.2 aperture, Retina Flash and auto image stabilization. The front camera comes with the capability of 1080p video recording and wide color captures with body and face detection, too.

Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have the new A10 Fusion processor embedded with M10 motion co-processor. Both of them come with 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options.
The iPhone 7 Plus has a larger battery capacity that features around 21 hours of 3G talk time as compared to the iPhone 7’s 14 hours. But apart from that they both offer the same hardware.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, both have Bluetooth 4.2, LTE Advanced up to 450 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and both support for Apple Pay. Both of them have the second-generation of the Touch ID fingerprint sensor alongwith their Home buttons.

The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus both run on iOS 10. That means they both offer identical user experience.
Thanks to the dual setup, it provides the few extra software features in the camera element of the iPhone 7 Plus. But everything else will be exactly same in iPhone 7 & iPhone plus.
Apple iPhone 7 vs iPhone 7 Plus: Price
All the Apple iPhone 7 models start at £599, apart from the Jet Black model. Case pricing starts at £699 because a 32GB model isn’t available in that finish. The 256GB iPhone 7 model costs £799.
For 32GB model, iPhone 7 Plus starts at £719, sneaking up to £819 for 128GB model, which is the starting model for the Jet Black finish. And, 256GB model is £919.

If see in terms of specs, the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are almost identical. Exceptions are just only in their physical size, cameras, display resolutions and battery capacities. So, there is a little difference between these two devices. No matter which phone you purchase both comes with many enticing things and features.
